We were all lucky enough to have fantastic weather for the Salford 10K on Sunday morning, albeit a little hot in places, especially around the 8K mark.
I was running on behalf of a great charity called Speed of Sight www.speedofsight.org which helped motivate me to get around the course and to also beat my best ever time. The charity does amazing things for people with disabilities and you can see some of what they do here and listen to Ben Sheppard on his experience here too.
I have been raising money pre-event and I am still looking to raise more post event. My donation page is here. Myself and Speed of Sight would really appreciate it if you could support this great charity.
For the people wanting to know the stats, I completed the race in 41.53, finishing 330th out of 3,700 runners…. now surely that’s worth a little bit of support. We even managed a #selfie half way round.
