New personal best for Tough Tribe website

Needing a refreshed website that could market and generate leads, Life Leisure’s Tough Tribe OCR teamed up with us to get it delivered.

Obstacle course races (OCRs) are enjoying a boom at the moment and are the fastest growing mass participation sport in the UK. Following a highly successful debut to the scene in 2017, Tough Tribe is returning to Stockport in 2018 with double the capacity.

Their web presence needed to work seamlessly across all platforms, with busy gym go-ers often accessing the site through their mobile devices.

A strong emphasis has been placed on event registration, while content management systems have been put in place for Tough Tribe to update their blog, prices and layout. Less noticeable too, is the overhaul of the UX and architecture, alleviating the structural problems that previously existed.

As well as the functional build, we brought the look and feel much more in line with Tough Tribe branding. Both the bespoke icons and display headings combine solid, rough lines with clarity and balance, while a bold palette of black, red and white subtly assist with page navigation and lead you through the content.

Laura Mylotte, Head of Marketing for Life Leisure was delighted with the results:
“We approached Dawn Creative to design a fresh and exciting new website for the North West’s newest OCR brand Tough Tribe and we are absolutely thrilled with the result. The team at Dawn researched the market to ensure an eye catching, easy to navigate website. The team were extremely helpful in ensuring we ended up with the best solution for the brand and in addition helped us in finding a great entry platform too. We can’t wait to see the impact the new site will have.”

Places on the next Tough Tribe OCR on Sunday 23rd September are already booking up, head to toughtribe.co.uk to take part or for more information.

As part of our commitment to outshining the competition, the team at Dawn will be representing at the race so we’ll see you at the finish line!
