Introducing SEO as a service!

We’ve been creating websites for a long time now, but it’s time to take things up a notch. While we’ve always been focussed on brilliant User Experience, sleek design, accessibility, speed and security, we want to make sure we’re doing everything we can to make your website rank amongst your competitors. We want you to get even more sales, more leads, more enquiries, and reach your goals faster.

We asked our MD, Dave, why we’ve added SEO as a new service

He said: “For years we’ve developed brands, improved websites and created better user experiences but have left the ongoing performance to our clients, or for them to source an SEO partner. For the great work we do to shine brighter, we felt it was time to take on the performance of their website ourselves, so that they benefit from increased visibility, new leads, and better business performance. We’re also keen to make SEO simple, easy to understand and for it to be genuine and holistic”.

“We believe too many SEO companies want the sale. They want the retainer and the next month’s contract signed. Few seem to focus on the actual website and the user experience, as for them it’s about driving traffic. There’s no point driving traffic to a mediocre experience. It’s a bit like sending out invites to a crap party. Bringing SEO into our offering means we can work more closely with clients and improve their overall online presence, making sure all decision-making is brand-led.”

Dave, what do we want people to know about SEO?

“We want to make things very clear. We want our clients to understand what’s happening under the bonnet. We want them to succeed and we want them to know that SEO is not a single service delivered in isolation but looked at holistically. We want to remove the dark arts and bring transparency to the fore. We want to see it as an investment that creates a return and helps our clients outshine their competition. Too many people offer SEO and too many SPAM emails are sent selling the service which downgrades the quality work that is out there. We want to change the perception by helping our clients see results and learn along the way”.

Matt, our new in-house SEO manager, can’t wait to kick things off.

“Why go through the effort of creating a new brand and a shiny new website to go along with it, if nobody can find it online? By adding SEO to our skillset, we can ensure online visibility is interwoven with everything we do. Of course, SEO is essential an essential part of web development, but it’s also a key consideration during influence brand naming, website design, and, when executed well, is a powerful tool for building brand recognition. This means the sites we create and the brands we build can remain visible and relevant online long after they go live”.

What are you most excited about seeing when working with new clients?

“It’s great seeing green figures for keyword movement, clicks, and impressions, but what I really get excited about is seeing what this increased visibility translates to. Conversions, leads, and revenue will always be the central focus of any SEO project when it really comes down to it, and seeing these needles start to shift is what truly validates the impact of the work”.

What do you wish more people knew about SEO?

“I think more people are starting to understand SEO these days, but I’ll occasionally come across people who still think that SEO is all about keywords. Don’t get me wrong, if you’re not monitoring keywords, you’re not really doing SEO, but holistic SEO goes much further than that. It’s about content quality, search intent, user experience, site speed, technical SEO, mobile friendliness and much more.

“Another thing people tend to believe is that SEO is a one-and-done project. Yes, a website built with SEO in mind will be in much better footing than one built without, but to really maximise your organic potential, ongoing effort is key. This means consistently optimising your site, adding and refreshing content, and adapting to shifts in ranking factors, or in the way people search”.
