Summary

HBL, civil and structural engineering experts, approached us to design and develop their new website as they prepared for a new phase of growth. As we got to know the HBL team, we soon found out that there was much more to them than meets the eye. Incredible projects involving rollercoasters, luxury apartments and new music venues across the whole of the UK and overseas really captured our imagination. Whilst their existing non-responsive site had become dated and it made perfect sense for this to be developed, we identified a change of approach could really help propel the business to where they wanted to be.

Using four core structural elements (Arch, Catenary, Column and Beam) we developed a bold, modern and breakthrough brand identity which celebrated each one individually and as a whole.

Strong and memorable repetitive patterns were created from each of the four elements.

The brand launch was accompanied with new office environments and wall graphics, along with a striking website that carried the brand through in all its glory.

HBL were thrilled with the new brand as it now represents them as the bright upcoming business they truly are. A host of new project wins have followed along with prestigious industry recognition and awards.
