We’re now a Certified B Corp!

We’re officially a Certified B Corporation™ – and we’re so proud! It’s been a long road, but totally worth it. At Dawn, we’ve always believed business should be a force for good. Becoming a B Corp gives us a solid framework to keep pushing ourselves to do even better for our team, our clients, our community, and the planet.

Being a Certified B Corp means genuinely caring. Putting people and purpose at the heart of what you do, not just profit. We’re on a mission to be a force for good in business, and B Corp gives us a guide to help us do it right, alongside some other wonderful companies across the globe. It’s all about learning, improving, and growing – and we’re excited to be on that journey.

What We’re Actually Doing

Becoming a B Corp isn’t just a label, it’s about taking action. We’ve challenged ourselves across every part of the business, looking at how we do things. How we support our team. How we work with suppliers. How transparent we are. How we recycle and use energy. We’ve also grown in areas we were already passionate about.
We’re supporting the next generation of designers through portfolio reviews, mentoring, talks at schools and colleges, and helping shape course content to keep the industry moving forward.
We give our clients’ in-house designers the chance to spend time with our design and digital teams, so they can get hands-on support, fresh ideas, and feel part of a creative community.
Our charity partnership with Create Arts means a lot to us. We fundraise, raise awareness, and support the incredible work they do – bringing creativity to those who need it most – boosting confidence, connection, and wellbeing along the way.
We’re a Living Wage employer, proving our commitment to the Real Living Wage. And, every quarter, our team gets wellbeing days off to relax, unwind, and recharge.
We’ve boosted our team and workplace green goals – stepping up our recycling game across different waste streams and teaming up with a local e-waste service to responsibly get rid of old devices.
We’re working on being a better employer by making real changes that actually matter. We’ve introduced new policies – like those around breastfeeding and menopause – and we make sure training is available whenever new policies or updates roll out. We’ve moved our Employee Handbook online so it’s simple to use, always up to date, and easy for the whole team to navigate.
We’ve taken a good look at our suppliers, run an analysis, set up a new policy, and sent out a survey to get their input. From here on out, we’re making a real effort to work with local partners wherever we can. These promises will guide every buying decision we make.

B Corp isn’t just a box to tick – it’s a whole new way of thinking. It’s about constantly challenging ourselves to do better for our team, our partners, and the planet. We’re not claiming to have it all figured out, but we’re moving in the right direction – and we’re proud to be doing it the right way.
